I changed the rear toe links on my 240sx. An alignment shop said they must realign the front if I change the rear.

I don't know why? Is this truthful?

To set the rear they have to a four wheel alignment but they don't have to change the settings on the front if they are correct.

I think they just wanted to charge me for all 4 wheels again. I only changed the rear links & the guy said it changes the front.

Greedy mechanics.

when doin an alignment, you align the rear first, then align the front to go off of the rear. i can adjust everything upfront to spec, then change the right rear camber a .5 degree, then everything up front will be out.

thats what there saying. dont know many peaple that will charge more for a four wheel alignment tho. your front measurements are off your rears. sure you dont NEED to do it, but thats the proper way.

P.S., we're not all greedy
