Took my car to the aligment shop. The guy told me that I have too much caster. That the lower part fo the wheel is retracted in relation of the strut, something like this \Solutions are stretch the body on a chassis stretcher or get caster plates. Is there caster plates for our cars? I know camber plates but CASTER?Also, what about adjustable tension rods? Will post the results later on.

Any help or tips? This is on a stock suspension/stock springs 93

Adjustable tension rods should let you adjust that out.

Will check measurements this weekend (via FSM) and let you know guys. As for the car being in an accident, dont really know. Probably was a pothhole or something funny in the road (PR roads are crap)The wierd thing is that is rotated foward!!!! Actually the strut is like this \ when looking at it (as per aligment numbers)I am seriously thinking on lowering my whole front end, check connections and raise it back up, this time reinforced. Also, my lower radiator support became unwelded from one side. Will post pics so you can see the damage.

Hammered from the factory!

I was an alignment technician for just over a year, found a lot of cars to be way out of adjustment on non adjustable parts. 240's are notorious for caster problems and they do not have any adjustment for it. I bought adjustable tension rods and fixed the pulling problem I've had since the day I bought it, 4 years ago. One of my buddy's had the same problem and we replaced the tension rod bushings and it helped a little, since those bushings wear out frequently.

The caster does not affect tire wear, so its not crucial to correct unless it drives you nuts...

The tech guy told me exactly the same thing. He told me that the car should pull slightly to the right but will not affect tire wear in any way. I am still looking for the measurements and will take pics tomorrow.I wonder if normal tension rod bushings (not pillowball) are available in adjustable form.
