I purchased 444GTR injectors from this guy a few months back and just got a replacement ECU from him in the last week or so. (60 bucks for jectors+ 45 for the ECU)

had the ECU tuned for said 444 injectors by jestr tuning + other mods with eprom. shelled out 200 bucks for all their tuning and sodering services.

today after tons of guessing what the issue was and checking a million things to figure out what the issue was. I re-installed my stock injectors and magicly the same thing happened agian with the tuned ECU + stock ECU.

turns out the Coding on the side of the injectors turns out to be th exact same numbers so my stock 370(IIRC) injectors and the ones sold as 444 injectors are infact the same.

did anyone else have issues with the things he sold? I did not know I was going to be sent broken injector caps either........

what is the best course of action? I paided 200 bucks for a tuned ECU that now does me no good without the proper injectors. I spend 60 bucks on something that does me ABSOLUTELY NOTHING . I also now cant even return him my good stock ECU as the other one is currently tuned

I hope to hear from him soon and will compose a detailed msg to him in the morning but looking for a bit of feedback right now as to what others think is a good chocie to do first?

Ps very sad I spent part of my BFs birthday, easter, and my weekend off only to be very let down and feel very scamed.

Are the "444cc" injectors the same color as the 370cc's? The 444's should be yellow tops. Good news is ebay has dsm 450cc injectors for $40-$50 all day long that will work.

the 444s looked identical. I didnt even think about them being different just figured nissan used the same outer shells with different guts.........

much like all the other parts that are on the different S-chassis(s) and engines.

450cc and 444cc can use the same tuned ecu.....just make sure you get low impedance DSM injectors (all DSM should be low). The OEM eclipse 450's are blue top or black top. You will need to use the CA's lower o-ring insulators on them tho.

hey, sorry about the confusion on the 444s..there are multiple reasons i thought they were 444cc injectors.

1: detailed writeup on boostcruisin.com showed his 444cc injectors and they looked the same as mine

2: car barely, and i mean barely ran with them in there, switched to 390cc injectors and lowered my fuel pressure according to Float_6969's suggestions and the car ran 10X better

if need be i will refund the money because i dont want some confusion on my part to ruin anything.

As for the pintle caps another guy i sold injectors to had the same problem, and i KNOW when i shipped them out the caps were perfect. Again a shipping error on my part.

I have no problem refunding the money because that should not have happend and it is my fault. How is the ECU and coilpacks doing?

Either E-mail me, PM me, or AIM me and we can get this taken care of.

Sorry about the confusion/troublesEric

like I said I couldnt even run the ECU as it was running so lean the car actually desieled of sort and kept chocking to try and turn with the battery removed and I had to actually pinch the gas line to finally shut her down all the way. it was real ugly. I would image you had it tuned for 444s and were running the 390s and had the same issue I experienced.

if you could refund the money and I can pick up TMS set we will be set. I havent swapped the coil packs, but I can check them out if you want me to.

Im assuming the ECU is good as the it did the same thing with both sets of stock Injectors........ w/o flinching. will have to wait and see I suppose.

yea, i can give you the money for the injectors back.

i didnt have anything tuned on my CA, all stock everything, i couldnt figure out the sputtering problem which could have been the dropping resistor and vac leaks. so i just said screw it and went megasquirt. Kinda the cheap way out, but i was going to anyways..so

ill be paypalling the money shortly

I think Gabby wants them and then another member got in line if she doesn't want them.

Dam I need to organize. I went to grab the set I was offering Gabby and there is a second set of 444s that I forgot I had! These are NOT cleaned however, they are as is but look great.

...That raises the question...why do you still have that?

I kinda want one in slightly better condition. Tell you what, in 6 years when the r32 is exempt from inspections and stuff, I will come scare your family and we will go find me one, in exchange for me leaving your country forever.
