Alarm won't stop going off!

I just bought a 2001 qx4. It starts and all but everytime I open the door the alarm goes off. The PO disabled the horn and ran a horn button so only the lights flash. I don't have a remote but unlocking the door with the key doesn't help. But it doesn't have to be locked. Any door opening sets it off even if it's running. Any suggestions? I want to get it fixed and rewire the factory horn.

I know that pathfinders will sound the alarm even if the door is unlocked if its left without a key for a certain length of time. I'd start with whatever module is responsible for that timekeeping or the alarm logic in general.

Also its probably standard to check for blown fuses whenever you have any electrical issues, no idea why that would be causing your problem though.
