Since i'm dumping tons of money into my engine, I think I want to get an alarm now. Only problem is i'm getting a turbo timer, I understand that some alarms can work even with the turbo timer some how. Does anyone know of a good alarm or how that whole thing works. I did do a search and found nothing on the subject.

I would have to check but before I broke my alarm it seemed that the alarm wouldnt affect the turbo timer unless I installed the starter interupt relay. If you dont use the starter kill it should work.

I want the starter kill though :( Plus I'd need the alarm to set right after the car turns off.

Doesn't say turbo timer, but it has a "remote runtime feature" which according to the local shop that sells them is the same thing...sounds about right to me...

Yeah, I have an alarm in my car, and then installed an Apexi TT, and now the TT is on the fritz. I have to leave it off now and wait for the dame thing to cool off.

I say forget about a turbo timer and just sit in your car and wait. Having an alarm is more important than a turbo timer. Instead of wasting $100 on a turbo timer you can just sit in your car for an extra 30 seconds each time. Or do what I do when I just drive it normally...just park and shut it off always works :D
