funny u ask...i just installed my remote start last night...the power door locks work just fine.....actually everything works fine...the only problem ive come across is that my sr just doesnt start as easy as a new car(which i hope im not the only one)...i mean it starts and runs fine with the key but the alarm i installed cranks the engine just enough to start...it actually sputters a bit at first.........now the problem i had was if the car is cold and the car doesnt wanna kickover on the first shot...(and the turbo timer is on)...u cant retry because the timer is still on and ther alarm thinks the car is running....it could be only my alarm that works this way but figured i give u a heads up.....it sucks the sr aint good for remote startin!!

UPDATE:it has come to my attention that this is a common problem with all 240s even those with ka's..there are 2 ignition wires that are the same color code...im thinkin this is my problem but ill let u guys know later...im gonna try this tonite...i bought the alarm from a place i found on ebay aND IT TURNS OUT THERE NEAR WHERE I LIVE SO I PAID 45 BUCKS FOR A REMOTE START,KEYLESS ENTRY AND A BUNCH OF OTHER NICE FEATURES..I THINK THEIR CALLED AUTOCHAMPS..THEY HAVE A WEBSITE U CAN ORDER THEM FROM.sorry for the caps but i dont feel like typin it again...lol

240SX's have a normal and cold ignition signal. The colors are different so you should be able to hook up the two wires to their corresponding ignition signals. My car does the stuttering start as well, but its not a big deal.

problem solved:...the cold start wire that i didnt hook up was needed....speedracer..listen up...i tried hooken a multimeter up to my cold start wire(with the starter disconnected)and i got 12v with the key in the ssart position...now..when i went to remote start i didnt get the 12v at the cold wire....(the cold wire goes to the ecu and im guessing throws more fuel in at startup)so i tapped the cold wire in with the acc. wire andd boom...starts perfect everytime
