Alarm system not working

I took my '94 Q45 to the dealer to program the remote. They tried several times, but it did not work. They also tested the new remote. I was good also. They said that there is something wrong with the alarm system. Has this happened to anyone else. Please help.

yes, first one remote stopped working, i changed battery still not working, infinity told me that the remote was fine and that my alarm was disconnected, i told them that was impossible because the other remote worked. The next day my other remote would not work. i remain mystified

Check the remote FCC numbers. I bet they are different for each.

both remotes worked for years and have the same FCC #'s

Some auto security stores (and maybe Infiniti dealers) have devices which can read the out put of the remotes to confirm their operation. If they are good, and you have followed the programming procedure, then the next step has to be examining the car's reciever and security computer, about which I know nothing. no service manual, one remote definitely has output the other??it is just strane that day after i left infinity and they said my alarm was disabled that the other remote stopped as welljames
