1. yes2. yes3. yes4. ?5. Not sure of the S14, if there is a trunk light, there should be a pin switch. If not, install one.7.-8. ?9. -13. ??- not sure of what you are asking....

Nothing bad with DIY's, but you need to research this more and take precautions. IF you burn your harness or damage your electrical system, life will suck. Very expensive to repair...Always disconnect your battery when splicing wires. If tracing voltages, do it at connections plugs, but only as a last resource and if you are fully familiar with the specific item and voltage....

go to the left and click Nissan, then S14. It just gives you locations in the car for proper triggers and connections. If you still are thinking about doing this, please have a fire extinguisher ready.....

I would recommend that you do take it to someone to have it installed. Alarm install can make or break a good security system.

Lots of good ideas here, specially when it comes to do a clean and hidden install.

Save yourself the money of having to pay someone fo fix your mistakes.... take it somewhere. Coming from someone who does this for a living... just don't try it.

You know, at first I wanted to say just take it somewhere. But we all started somewhere. I taught myself back in 1990 how to install an alarm on my 1st car. And 26,000 cars later I'm where I'm at today. I didn't really know a lot about wiring or alarms back then, but I took my time and figured it out as I went. And there was no such thing as the internet for me.... so you have a lot of resources at your disposal. Luckily I have always considered myself a natural in my field. Some people just have "it", and most don't. If you want to research the internet for the basics and tips, I would suggest 12volt.com.
