Alarm Horn Will Not Sound

My alarm horn will not sound, but the lights will flash, on my 97 Maxima when I press the alarm button on the remote. The key fob will arm the system, (because the lights flash and the car locks) but no alarm sound when I press the remote to lock the doors or press the panic button. The horn will sound when I press on the steering wheel. Please Help

your horn will not sound BECAUSE the horn doesnt sound, only the lights flash FYI

Thanks for the FYI, is the alarm supposed to sound when I press the alarm on the key fob?
