Alarm chirp deactivated

My alarm chirp in my pathfinder 03 is gone after i seated on the remote and i heard like 4 clicks from fuse box , how can i get it ( chirp ) back, doors locks work fine and light blink when i click on the remote to activate the alarm but chirp sound not heard.Please help

Try this; it works on my 99.5's remote:

Simultaneously depress and hold the unlock and lock buttons for 5-10 seconds. Doing this should toggle between the lock chirp and blinker flash.

^^ this is all correct and the 4 clicks you heard were the hazard lights (both turn signals) flashing 4 times

Welcome to NICO!I concur -- you can have the lock / unlock work in silent mode if you prefer.

I was wondering, If It possible to close the door and for the alarm to arm itself without pressing the alarm remote? Any info will help thanks.

Yeah you don't have to use the remote to arm it. You can arm it by locking and closing the doors as well.

I mean after closing the door, after a few seconds 20-30 or so...lock itself?

ohhhhhhh. . . I dunno, I don't believe so. But then again, the 01+ has a lot of extra niceties that VG R50s didn't get, so that may be included.

I'll leave the question up for a qualified expert.
