Alarm 93 G20

My car will not even turn over, i hear this tiny clicking and my lights are flashing dimly. is there some sort of alarm that went off and won't let me to start my car?

'93s didn't have any immobilizer so far as I know.

Check your fuses, starter solenoid, and starter.

yup. those would be the first places I'd check.

i talked to the owner before me and he said that there was an aftermarket alaram placed in and he took it to an mobile electronic shop and they removed it but evidently not

This isn't an immobilizer issue. They don't act like that. There'd either be no clicking and no lights, or still no clicking and the lights would turn on like they should.

Again, check the three things I listed in that order (simplest to most complex, basically) and report back if you're still stumped.

just to let any other members know if they have this problem there is a factory alarm when you unlock the doors by reaching in through the window. your alarm will go off(silent) and you cannot start , or even hotwire you car. even though your doors are know unlocked just unlock the doors again with the key.

On my Sentra if I reach in and unlock the door through the window, the alarm goes crazy when I open the door.

It was embarrassing the time or two I did it.

The silent method makes more sense though. I don't see why they would have changed it on later models.
