Sorry man, but there isn't much traffic on the southeast region forum...you might have better luck on Al-Drift. They do alot of auto-x and tracking their cars, so they'd be interested. They're also mostly from Birmingham, so you'd fit right in...

If someone can come up with a place and date, we should do it. I'm still new to the area and state, so I'm not sure where would be a good location. I'd even be down for a all Nissan meet, not just a Silvia meet.

I'm in Huntsville and have a place that wants to do a meet. The place is Trackmasters. It will be a dyno day with some grilling out. If I remember correctly, he said the price for a couple of dyno pulls will be $40 and $50 if you want to use the wideband O2. I was up there for the one he just had recently for the VW crew and it was a lot of fun. I was shooting for the last weekend in March ( the 31st I believe). Also, after the dyno day, I was thinking about having people over to my house which is about 3/4 of a mile from the dragstrip. Eat and go as a group for some 1/8th mile fun. I will need to confirm the date at Trackmasters, but start talking to people and get a head count. I will also need a more specific head count on who is going to dyno.

If anybody wants to help and/or talk it over some more, shoot me an email: [email protected]

Yup it's a supercharged KA. I like it a lot for daily driving. The instant power is really nice and it has a really smooth powerband.

I just started a website called HSVDrifting.com. Check it out. There's forums and I'll be listing events that I know of on the site. It says HSV (Huntsville), but it really covers anywhere north of and including the Birmingham area.

I'm down for a meet. I wont drive all the way up to Huntsville for one though. Maybe Mobile.

Or if you guys are interested we can set something up one weekend for a BBQ @ the beach down here. I got a bunch of car nut friends that would probably make it. Actually gear heads, not highschool punks.

One owns a 2004? Hyndai Tiburon, one a 2004 or 2005 Eclipse.. Hopefully I'll have my 97 240 in a week or so...We should get together.

Yeah, I wish I knew how to do my own engine swaps, but I don't. I wish I knew how to rebuild a turbo, but I don't. I wish I knew how to install the Z32 brakes with the independent rear e-brake drum, but I don't. I wish I knew how to install a boos controller, but I don't. I wish I knew a lot of things.

Cool cool cool. I dunno about a meet...seems like almost everyone here is either working on getting their 240s running or don't have one...I really sucks, but if you know any guys around there that might want to get together I'm down.
