Akita Racing rims.. any info?

So a friend of mine is selling me the whole set of some akita rims.. theyre 18's and hes selling them 2 me for $220.00 but 2 rims need tires. he sent me a picture and i searched online for theyre website. im not totally convinced as these are for sure knock offs. for now it will suit me though. they are not ugly rims, im not crazy about the color though,.. so i would proly be painting them. does anyone know if the brand is any good at all? i mean for the price i think the rims are pretty reasonable but i just want to know what u guys think b4 i make the buy.. thanks

they are FWD fitment, essentially crap, they wont really look very good and will be sunken in your fender wells, to be perfectly honest, i would rather have stock wheels than those, Akita isnt really a good brand, im sure you will find there fitment more towards Hondas and the like, if i were you i would save my money and rock stockers and use the money to lower the car, a lowered car with stock wheels ALWAYS trumps a stock height car with ANY afrermarket wheels

You might not have noticed it, but... he drives a 200sx SE-R. Which IS FWD... lol

Sometimes I have to remind myself that not everybody on NICO drives a 240sx or a Z, too... lol

Thanks guys... lol haha yea i know its a 200sx FWD i love my car... gimme a 240 and i will love it even more haha my next car is gona be a 240 though i want one so bad!!
