Hey Nico Gang. I have a quick question for anybody that knows the answer. The other day I had one of my brake calipers seize up I instantly thought about getting the big brake kit, but didn't want to do it, so my brother in law works for a known auto parts store. and just out of curiosity I asked him to look up brake calipers for 2009 g37 sport. And my surprise they actually had them but here's the downfall, they are the Akebono big brake kit but, they don't have the Akebono caliper covers on them meaning the caliper it self is there but the silver outside which covers the caliper shows the two pistons isn't I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get the caliper covers from. also you can get these calipers way cheaper than the one with the covers, I mean it is literally the same caliper it just doesn't have the cover now to some people this may not be a big deal like for myself I really like the look of Akebono big brake kit but ultimately I really want them for stopping power but it wouldn't hurt to have the covers for the love as well a used set of calipers only will cost around $700. you can go to the leprechaun parts store for those of you that know what I mean and get them with trading in your brake calipers for around $400 that's a huge savings you can also get the rotors as well the rotors are about $100 a piece for the 14 inch I didn't look up the price for the rear brake pads will cost around $120 front and back for the Wagner ThermoQuiet all in all you can do this whole big brake kit for around $900 that's a big bargain but if I can get the caliper covers I wouldn't mind having them

I know what you are saying about the cover. I just looked them up from an online local autoparts store, and the calipers are complete, the only thing is that they are raw, meaning you would have to get them painted or powdercoated. They are re-manufactured but the price is way less than getting them from the dealer or second hand, since some second sellers think they have an exclusive item with there prices.
