Would the stock 2009 M35 18" wheels fit over these Akebono brakes after installing the 15mm spacers?

^^^ Second... I guess I will find out the hard way soon enough if no one replies.

Another question, I keep seeing/reading stuff about needing shorting banjo bolts. The used set I bought came with lines. They do not use a banjo fitting to connect the line to the caliper. I assume there is no reason I can't just use those?

You can reuse the lines that came with caliper. If not, you have to shorten the banjo bolt on your existing brakes. If you are going through all that trouble, why not get Stainless Steel lines that come with the shorter bolts.

^^ why would the M's need a template for the front rotor? They are just straight bolt on, no? The rear requires a little of cutting away the rear brake dust shield of similar, but that's all that is necesssary on the M's, at least from what I can recall.

But yea, definitely upgrade to SS lines and get the G/Z version with the correct bolt on fit.

The template helps you determine if the calipers clear the wheels. Nothing to do with a bracket.

I have two sets of 15mm spacers for my 08 M35 Base, I am wondering if the rear tire will jut out from the car or if the tire will stay inside the fender? How much space do you have between your fender and your tire in the rear? I also have 08 OEM 19's, I wonder if these are the same offset as the 07 version...
Thanks, timothy.kelley86. Depending on what angle you look at the rear, the tire is just inside of the fender, but if you look at the bottom of the tire it looks like it is just flush with the fender. It basically looks like what the car should have looked like stock - pretty sporty, but not BMW M3 sporty. As for if they are the same offset, I'm not exactly sure, but the offset should be similar even though the wheel design of the 08 stock 19" wheels are slightly different from the 06/07 stock 19" wheels. You won't need to worry about that because you will not need to fret about clearing any larger calipers, as you are just installing spacers. I would just add 15mm to your rear and/or front tires using a cardboard tire mock-up, measure and eyeball it and see if it would jut out to your liking. You can also use this guide to help you out with the gap and spacing: http://www.trakplus.com/measure Hope this helps, and let us know how the install went (pics would be nice as well!) :)
If you want to upgrade your front from akebono go with 2012 jeep str8 6 piston brembo they bolt rite up and u can keep the g37 rotors

Anybody aware of the sport style rotors at a good buy right now? the 14"/355mm versions for the akebono BBKs?

Do not see why they wouldn't. The brake part#'s on the Hybrid cross over to the M37/M56.

I see some people use machined brackets to accommodate the over-sized calipers and rotor combination on the M35. I have a 2006 M35 Sport and I'm not exactly sure if I need these brackets. Is this bracket only necessary if you're using the over-sized rotors AND calipers? I have searched and searched and found threads on the subject and some mention using the brackets and others don't even mention them. So my question is, if I need to use these brackets to complete my upgrade where would I purchase them?

AKEBONO KIT doesn't require a bracket for M.
You can only use the AKEBONO calipers with the akebono sized rotors and pads. You CAN'T use akebono calipers with your stock non sport rotors, period.

This kit includes everything necessary to put brakes on your car...with correct offset wheels and modifications to dust shields. All explained in the description for item.

The brackets are probably for the older Brembo brakes.
