93 KA24DE: The exhaust air inserter system (AIV / PAIRS-?) which is plumbed to the air cleaner is dripping moisture when I disconnect the hose from the air cleaner. I presume this is not normal, right?. Can it be fixed easily? Does the hose to the assembly need intake vacuum or is it just a source of clean air?. I could put a little mesh breather filter or maybe take off the whole system if it won't hurt other emission systems.

Yes, remove AIV system entirely.

Problem solved.

if water is dripping out that means exhaust gas is being pushed through it. the reed valves are probably gunked up and letting air flow freely in the wrong direction, remove it or clean the reed valves.
