AIV location... which pipe off intake?

I know this has been asked a bunch but all I have seen is "the line runs off the main intake tube" but I'm not sure which one. Is it the 1" diam. tube which runs to the throttle body or the 1/2" tube which runs below the intake and splits off in two directions? Or I've got the pic with the two tubes labeled.

The threads I've read about cleaning/testing the AIV to see if its the cause of my rough idles and stalling out say to plug the tubes and see if the problem still occurs. Do both tubes get plugged or which one?

IIRC the #2 tube leads to the IACV not the AIV.

the AIV tube is connected to your stock intake box and leads towards the firewall to a black box.

AIV is the black box by the exhaust manifold with the tube that goes to the airbox
