AIV/EGR DELETIONS—‘86 n/a 5 spd.

Am having a full custom exhaust installed, and need to delete the EGR/AI valve assmbls. to accommodate. Any practical feedback or on-line instructional guidance (ie. YouTube), would be greatly appreciated! DeepBLUZ

Does your state have an exemption for older cars to not have to pass emissions testing? You might give that some thought if it's already not an issue.........

Thanks, amc49—emission’s testing is not required in Va. for vehicles 25 yrs. or older, so am clear, in that regard. The car’s in beautiful condition—a lot of love from the previous owner helped—so I have not been subjected to anything more than a walk a round and a hood-flip, before they slap on the sticker. These 31s are a b**** to work on, and can be temperamental, if you FU!...so I’d like to get this ‘right’. Any other thoughts, from any ‘enthusiasts’, will be appreciated!
