would this missing sensor cause my power loss and hesitation issues. the guy I bought this car off did a ghetto intake setup and tossed the stock airbox.

I had the same deal. What i did was cut a hole in the ruber part of the air filter and stick the sensor in there, then i sealed it with silicon.

great idea, but do you think the sensor would cause power loss? I would rather spend my money on the 0'2 sensor cause it more likely the problem, its pretty rusty.
