What would be better, to get a new AC compressor, get a cheaper AC compressor, or spend a crap load of cash and get a whole new system?

Any info would be nice.

typically when you buy the compressor you want to replace the evaperator, orifice tube/expansion valve accumulator/drier because most places won't honor the compressors warranty if you don't replace everything else. Unfortunetly ac s*** is always expensive, but I would just buy a remanufactored compressor
