airbox mounts

any reason why i shouldnt hack these off with a sawzall. they no longer have a purpose. maybe drop like 1/4 lb or is it not worth the effort.

i know its stupid, but ghetto mods are kinda like a hobby. im thinking about tearing out the carpet pading too. might help with the smell. maybe find a lighter replacement for the spare cover.

someone did a writeup on the weights of things you can strip out once. i wonder where it is.

I took mine off. I took off pretty much everything that makes my car harder to work on. Took out the plastic stuff underneith your feet, by te firewall. It was broke and brittle. I also took out the insulation patting on the firewall because it would always get caught in my drill every time I would drill through the firewall.

so what'd you do, just hack em off? i know the lower one has 2 spots welds i wouldnt mess with. i could drill out the upper ones if i want to get psycho with it, not my first instinct.
