Hi Rob -

First off, I'd leave this to the pros. There's a lot of reasons, most importantly your safety.

That said, I don't see any reason the same-year Maxima bags won't work. You'll want to look VERY closely and make sure the dash is identical, and if it's even a little bit different, you're going to be stuck finding I35 bags.
