I purchased a 2013 G37x that was T-Boned and I’m in the process of repairing same. I replaced the passenger side seat airbag along with the side curtain airbag. The airbag module was sent out to a company that specializes in reprogramming them. I purchased a new crash sensor which is located in the vehicle's B-Post. I have been told that it is not necessary to replace this sensor unless there is physical damage to it, as it resets itself. Does anyone know if this is true? Also, would I be correct in my assumption that this sensor controls the deployment of the seat and curtain airbag? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know the answer, but it's probably in one of these:

Good luck with the rebuild.
