SO a few months ago, my airbag started flashing. I brought it to the dealer and they said it's could be a few things. I already posted regarding this but now I am thinking of getting it fixed.

Has anyone else had this issue? It's a 2007 Versa sl ctv. Code: b1054

Any fixes?

Not sure of the code b1054 I don't have it in any of my books but breaking down the numbers it would appear that the circuit is not being activated, could be a simple loose wire or bad earth

I had it at the dealer and they diagnosed it as "open". But they don't know exactly what is wrong with it!! So they said to do a "spring" change $400 and if that does not work... another repair...and if that does not work...one more!

So really, it could cost me up to $2000.00!!!!!!!!!!

Not to happy!

I would suggest a note to NHTSA about the clockspring failure so if it happens to others and they report it maybe there will be a recall similar to the one Chrysler had to replace clockspings and you might get your $400 refunded. Clocksprings as a "Safety" device should not fail this soon.
