Airbag light flashing

So last week I was pondering getting my airbags inspected because a friend of mine had a wreck and his didn't deploy. Any way I decided not to and went on with my week. Now after stopping to look at a infiniti for a friend my airbag light is flashing. My car knows my thoughts

I did this and It wasn't indicating anything in particular. It Hasn't come back on but what do you think would have caused it?

I have no idea. I'm pretty unfamiliar with the airbag system, mine never tripped up and I even got it inspected by the dealer 10 years after the manufacturing date as the owner's manual and sunvisor indicate. However, this is no longer necessary/suggested for "standard scheduled maintenance" as mentioned in NTB01-057 - REVISED MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES.

If it turned off and doesn't reappear, I'd chalk it up just to a random glitch. If it reappears, try to note down the number of flashes it gives or whether it just keeps on flashing.
