airbag light after momo swap

Hello all, quick question. Just installed a momo steerin wheel on 95 240sx and wanted to know how to stop the airbag light from flashing w/out removing the fuse. All I can find are solutions for purchasing a arbag delete kit or fuse removal. I know theres another method but someone I know said they had done it to their same car but didnt remember how. My first step is to try the airbag light reset by using the door ajar switch method but in the mean time does anyone know of any other way. Thanksss

if the airbag is missing then your screwed. the only thing i can think of is try different resistors where the air bag plugs into to make the srs system happy. i have no idea what resistor though and i WOULD NOT try and check the ohms resistance of the airbag to get a reference because that thing might blow! try a 10k or 100k?

ya ive been reading up that people use 10 ohm res. but I would be lost on how to make that adapter

Well the air bags system will not work with a fault anyway so you can just pull the bulb out of the cluster.

True but if the vehicle ever needs a safety inspection the srs bulb must illuminate with the key on..so to keep it "legit" wire the srs light in series of the check engine light. Thats what we had to do with my buddies Mustang ....the funny thing is, the DMV here is so retarded and programed that when I got a Vin inspection. The Guy " went by the book " and looked straight past. My motor swap to get the Vin off of the firewall. Maybe he just didn't care.
