Airbag indicator light blinking?

Car: 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe 2.5

I just had a new aftermarket head unit installed in my Altima Coupe 2.5. Which on the long drive home I noticed that the airbag indicator light was blinking the one above the fuel gauge. A drive back to the shop is an hour 1/2 away. Has anyone seen this before or know what might be causing this? Looks like I will have to call my dealer and see what they say which I know they will want the factory equip back in. any suggestions?
