It's even worse than that. The last data I've seen (I think Consumers Reports) has Mercedes at the very bottom of ALL manufacturers. Ford has actually moved into the top 1/3. Nissan is actually down near the bottom 1/3. BMW was about average. VW and Audi were also in the bottom 1/3.Ever Victorious wrote:Funny, since lately the Germans have been having quality control about on par with the big 3...
I think it's more a design issue. Mine came off the truck this way, the air bag assembly was replaced (after many weeks of waiting!) and the new one developed the same problem after a few weeks, so I'm waiting for number three to come in.motoguy128 wrote:This is one of the most common minor defects rolling off the assembly line.
That is an "Early" Versa, one within the date build range of the cars with a TSB put out in regards to their TPMS system. Keep an eye on your dash light,..maggiegirl714 wrote:I brought it in...they are replacing the "entire airbag assembly".
I also had a blown fuse - couldn't charge my phone. He said "it happens".
My versa was built 7/4/06.
Is that the only thing to look for - a light on my dash?Ever Victorious wrote:
