Hi everyone and thanks for your answer in advanced.

I have a 2013 Nissan Rogue and the airbag blinking light wont turn off (reset).
I tried to do following procedure (found on couple web-sites) several times but it doesn't help:

1. Turn the key from off to on.

2. Watch the airbag light closely. It will stay on for a few secs. and then as soon as it blinks off (the start of the flashing), turn the key off instantly.

3. Count to 5 (1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi . . . .)

4. Repeat steps 1-3 two more times until you have done the cycle three times.

5. Now turn the key on and watch the light. It will start blinking in a different, slower manner. This is diagnostic mode. You can watch this for a little while, no hurry.

6. Now turn the key off again, Count to 5 like in step 3 again, and turn back on. If the procedure worked, the airbag light will not be flashing.

Is this for the passenger side air bag? Is that light lit?

If it won't reset you probably have a problem with the airbag...

Passenger side air bag is lit too. I will try to reset the light according that video.
Do you know if the blinking pattern means something? For example when I had Acura before and I had similar problem I just counted blinks and found the reason (it was a seat belt).

12 flashes is the RH seat belt tensioner 2

1. Visually check the wiring harness connections
2. Replace the harness if it has visible damage.
3. Replace the front RH seat belt pre-tensioner 2.
4. Replace the diagnosis sensor unit (ACU)

Caution: disconnect battery for 10 minutes before disconnecting any harness or component otherwise you can blow your airbags.

I know ford used to use a blinking light system on some of their pre-OBD vehicles. So where do you find a listing of the blink codes for Nissan?

OR YOUR AIRBAG ELECTRONIC CLIP IS UNPLUGGED, THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ALOT OF PEOPLE I KNOW AND ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS FIND IT AND PLUG IT BACK IN ITS IN DIFFERENT PLACES FOR EVERY CAR BUT MOST OF THE TIME ITS UNDER NEATH THE SEATS FOR EITHER DRIVER OR PASSANGER

It was right passenger seat belt tensioner. I bought on ebay 2.2K resistors and plugged one of them into seat belt connector and airbag light is off now. Going to repair passenger seat belt tensioner.

Just curiosity dave08902, where did you get this information?
