Can someone tell me the easiest and safest way about removing the other casing around the vents, i decided to do some cheap painting and want to get them out in perfect condition so they go back in, any help would be apperciated. If all i have to do is pull what is the best way and tool to use to go about it. Thanks.

Best thing that you can do for that is to buy a Chiltons guidebook for your year car. Not to mention that it is a bible for your car. They're great just to scan through and read.

the one around the center vent is a biznatch. I broke it in half when I was swapping dashes, so I just didnt' put it back in.

you need to get a couple little screwdrivers or something so you can reach in and undo some of the clips that hold it in.

the others come out pretty easy though. just keep prying on them.
