Air vents not switching

Hey all. I'm a little stumped. The buttons to switch the vents to the main to the floor to the defogger etc. doesn't work. Its stuck on the main vent. The a/c and recycle button do not work either but the climate and fan switches still work fine. My brother suggested getting a new unit to replace it but its the same case as the other one. Could it be the wiring or am I missing something. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The vent changes are controlled by vaccuum. Try finding the lines and go over them.

Haha thats crazy. I had this EXACT same issue about a month ago. I thought my climate control unit was broken and started looking for a replacement. However, I forgot to check my fuses. Turned out that my A/C fuse blew which caused my vent controls to not work. But everything else still worked. I would have never thought that the A/C fuse was connected to the vent controls.

yea forgot to mention, looked over every fuse on the car pretty much, and they're all functioning fine. might try to replace it anyways just incase
