Air temp sensor location

i've tried searching but didn't find any specifics on where the ATS is located on our cars.... S14i was wondering where it is exactly?... a friend of mine bought one of those "power chips" for his cavalier and didn't end up using it, so i took it from him... let's see what this bs does.... ill let you guys know if it helps

sorry, dont know where the iat sensor is, but what is this power chip your talking about... sounds like somthing you wouldlnt want on ur car, especially since it was for a cavy

it's a chip... well resistor that makes your car run a little rich... i believe that they are all generic and would connect to any car... i'll hook it up and see if it does anything, and if take it off.

well the intake air temp sensor is right next to the mafs.... if you have your stock air box then it is attached to the side of it...

i bought a cone filter for my car so i just have the thing sitting right next to the mafs.. heres a pic

thanks for the pic... i have an aftermarket intake, so the IAT is plugged into the adapter before the filter like yours... is the AIT sensor the same as the Air Temp Sensor?... is there just two diff names?

I've been getting the AIT sensor CEL (#41) for awhile here....

I replaced the sensor, but still getting the CEL. 2BN_S13 thinks it's the wiring, but I'm not sure I want to blow $100 on some shop to look at it.
