Air Temp Sensor for MAF-at turbo inlet or outlet?!?

Hi, I'm re-making my intake for the turbo on my car so it's a) made out of stainless steel and is more reliable and b) so it's cold air. My question....should the air temperature sensor for the MAF be on the hot pipe that goes to the throttle body or in the inlet (intake) to the turbo? I did have it on the inlet, but if that sensor is supposed to be reading the temperature of air going into the TB, wouldn't it make more sense to put it in the hotpipe coming from the compressor?

Let me know asap!

Marc

Doesn't matter (on the S14) - It's not used for tuning, and the MAF doesn't use any info collected by the IAT.

Intake air temp is essential for a MAP based saystem, but on a MAF based system like ours (Nissan, Mitsu, Toyota), you can even unplug it and it doesn't matter.

So the answer is: Put it where it's most convenient.
