air temp sensor failure!!help me online mechanics!

hi, my 240sx 1990 dont have the air temp sensor conected. .....it has the sensor , but the wires are cut from the sensor... theres no way to solder the wires and reconect again.... i go to nissan dealer and they dont have this sensor, because my car is import. ....

what can i do ???? remplace with a resistor? p´lease help me!!.... my mpg is worse... the air temp sensor affect my ggas mileage?? thanks...the terminals or conections in the air temps sensor are extremely short... theres no way to solder the wires again .... my nissan dealer dont sell this sensor because my car is "usa" and im live in "mexico" .... what can i do? can i remplace it with other stuff? resistor? transistor? diode? ??? please help!!

You can probably order a sensor from a US company and have it shipped to you. Try looking on the web.
