It's each car owner's own decision what they do with their cars. Not everyone will believe it's butchering it. Most people in here, from my observation is more of a performance fanatic, so air bags are probably not very popular here.
That said, to bag a 240, you'ld likely have to use a bag over strut or a cylinder set-up in the front. Using a bag over strut may be a bit hard on a 240. There is very little room over the tire even at stock height. This means that at full drop, the car may not sit as low as most people who use bags would like. I've dealt with these systems before as a friend of mine owns a shop that bags PT Cruisers. Those use Macpherson Struts up front as well, but they have a ton of room above the tire. And even then, it's still not as low as I've seen with some other bag set-ups. You can use a cylinder, but since a cylinder would not be entirely over the tire, you must keep the wheels relatively thin in size otherwise the cylinder will hit or bind against the wheel. There are some thinner cylinders out there, but they tend to be very harsh to ride on as there is less volume of air to compress for a given pressure. Bags tend to have the smoothest ride quality.
For the rear, I'm not sure there is enough room. Use a thin enough tire and some custom hardware to mount the bags in place of the spring/shock assembly. You can use cylinders in the rear as well, but I don't think too highly of them.
I haven't heard of anyone making a kit specifically for the 240sx. You'll probably need to have custom hardware built. Maybe call Drop Zone and they might be able to refer you to one of their dealers in your area that can do this kind of work. And don't skimp out on connections. Unless each wheel uses its own valve, if you lose pressure in one, all the air from the entire system can go out and depending on how low it can drop, you may not be able to even move the car.
