What do you mean "air was coming out"? Did it hiss when you opened the cap, you mean? That would be air sucking in. Please specify.

hey man sorry i wasnt more descriptive.

when i take the oil filler cap off and put my hand over it i can feel air coming up and out. like a very soft blowing.

also the car is running VERY rich and oil has mixed with the gas. when i take the oil cap off and it is running a few drops of oil "bounces" up and out of the unscrewed filler opening.

i am planning on changing the oil soon because there is so much gas it is at a rather watery consistancy.

I was planing on some castrol 15-40?any suggestions?

Rotela 5 40 or 15 40 should work. =) also dont run that car antother minute like that and get your tuning issue straight. your gonna kill that engine.

as for the air. Possible blowby?

It's prob blowby, but I wouldn't be too worried about it either. My brand new motor did that. If the compression is alright, get it tuned and enjoy.

i have blowby to the point where it smokes lightly. but my compression numbers are extremely strong and almost exactly even across the board, so im not worried one bit. The smoke is nothing but a nuisance
