Hi, This may be a strange question. I was in an accident. Front end smashed. AC condeser and radiator smashed. Is it posible to not replace the ac condenser. Air barely worked anyway. Would my truck be drivable with out it? I am not sure about the relationship between the ac condenser and the drivability? Also, would this affect my coolant flow or heating system. I can live with out the ac but not heat. The truck is a 2000 frontier 3.3 man5spd 4x4 crew. I really need this truck to run but would have to order the condenser after next payday. Thanks for everyones help with my previous posts. I read everything on this site. :ohno:

I'm damn sure you will be just fine without having A/C. The condenser just affects the A/C system, and not the cooling. As long as you get a new radiator, you can do without having the condenser.

Thanks, What would happen to the compressor then. Do you think its ok that it stay in. One of the belts are running off the compressor? The condenser is out and I believe the system is pretty much empty.

You can remove compressor or just the belt if it is not driving any other accessory. Most AC compressors have their own belt and do not share it with anything else but check it will take some drag off the engine
