Hey I'm sure this question comes up a whole bunch.
I just got a new 2012 altima coupe 2.5s and I am looking to get a new air intake system to boost my hp and mileage.

However I've heard that the altima coupe doesn't accommodate COLD air intakes, only short ram intakes??
Is this true?

And if so, can i have some recommendations for a intake system (not too pricy.. id like to keep it around $300)
also if you can, with the information of how much hp and mileage it increased for you! Thank you.

Rufio

I have this one for my 3.5. I'm really happy with it.

It wont really boost your HP, barely any noticeable differences. But I think you will love the sound of it ;)

As for a cold air intake, im not sure if the sound is different as opposed to short ram.

Ah. yeah... honestly the sound is one of the main reasons i want it heh.. :chuckle: Thank you though! And i doubt it matters anyway cus as of now I can't even find any cold air intakes for the car.

Just FYI I think DCSports is the cheapest name brand intake you are going to find. I paid 130ish shipped from here http://www.streetsideauto.com/p/dc-spor ... m-sri4209/ but they seem to be out. You can find it else where for 150ish shipped normally. Great intake, great price..

Wow that's really cheap for an intake. I'm thinking about getting this now. On the site it says it doesn't fit though....

Yea no ones gonna pay $300 for a K&N when they can find it for like $50 cheaper, not to mention the site you listed is only $20 more new.
