air intake

I have a aftermarket cold air intake on my 04 g35x. The plastic between the filter and the down tubing broke. I cannot find a replacement part and cant afford to replace entire kit. Also, i live in california and am not sure a cold air will pass emissions. Any ideas?

Cold air intakes will pass emissions. First, what is the aftermarket system you have? Second, take a picture of the damage...it will help with giving you an answer.

Sorry for the delay in responce, i got the pics but cant post them on here. Let me know if im missing something. Also the aftermarket system has no clear markings as to vendor or model. Not sure if its some generic china product or what. It was on the car before i purchased it.
