air intake

i want to get an air intake..but i dont know if they make em for 90 model...anybody got a clue?

well if your really on a budget you could perform daunttless's amazing airbox mod. With a K&N filter that would prolly mimic an intake pretty well. I did it and got stopped by the cops:D Plus there have been rumbles on the forum about the stock tubing flowing just as well as the Ingen intakes. BTW welcome to the board. Are you in Kitchener/Waterloo, Ontario?

P.S I'm pretty sure the intakes on the KA24E (SOHC '89-'90) and KA24DE (DOHC '91-'94) were the same so any intake for an S13 should work :sleep

I went by this cop at WOT...he thought I had all sorts of s*** under the hood.....then he's like.."it idles real quiet"

i may be wrong but since the ka24de's intake manifold turns down, and the ka24e's intake turns up, i cant imagine the piping matches up?please tell me if it does for sure though... -pete

i noticed mine was louder but it's not all loud like people are always talking about. is it illegal to have a fast car in canada or somethign? if you said the cop pulled you over because he 'thought' you had stuff under the hood..what does that mean? we might only get pulled over if the police think that we don't have a cat or mufflers.
