We don't buy CAI's because our cars come stock with CAI. We buy pop chargers.

All you need is the filter and the adapter plate. I would go with the JWT pop charger, as many other people would suggest. Here's a good place to get it for a good price:

I wouldent waste your money on an intake IMO, you wont notice the gains unless you do a full exhaust with it, catback & testpipes

Its not night and day diff by itself

I wouldent expect to feel my car pull harder with just a pop-charger

I agree that it alone wont change much that can be physically felt but it should improve mileage by a couple mpg, you also can clean it rather than buying new filters, as well as it lets the engine breath better and will play more a roll when other upgrades are introduced, that said the n/a really doesn't benefit from any upgrade I know personally since I have pretty much all of them.

Intakes are weird with the Z32

On my vert when i insalled one the car would die out when i pushed the clutch in after i installed the intake,

On my TT, it was fine

and on my 2+2 it was fine

and that Stockair box is a PITA to get out without breaking it or meeing up my frontbumper ( cause the wrap)

So i roll with the stockair box, looking to get the K&N drop ins pretty soon

If the upper splash gaurd isn't in place there is a possibility for the filter to allow to much turbulance which isn't to uncommon and likely was the issue on the vert, it can happen even with the upper splash shield in, the flower pot mod is a very cheap and easy fix for that issue though.

you can buy stuff from autozone to make it work, it will not work as well as the POP, but if it doesn't matter to you then go ahead.
