Air Intake for the wife's Pathfinder

was thinking about buying this K&N an air intake for my wife's 2007 Pathfinder: http://www.knfilters.com/search/product ... od=57-6014

any others that i should look at? Looking for additional performance, better fuel economy (or at least not worse), and a little more attitude on the exhaust note.

You might consider some do it yourself modifications.

I'm thinking about cutting holes in th air intake "fingers", the tubes down at the bottom-by the wheel well/behind the d-side fog light.

I'm also thinking about the mod where you cut a hole in the air box, and add a marine screw on cover for wet weather.

Cost: time & ?40$ for the marine cover.

Edit: adding for either of those mods we don't have to fiddle with the MAF sensor.(AFAIK)
