Air Intake for the wife's Pathfinder

was thinking about buying this K&N an air intake for my wife's 2007 Pathfinder: http://www.knfilters.com/search/product ... od=57-6014

any others that i should look at? Looking for additional performance, better fuel economy (or at least not worse), and a little more attitude on the exhaust note. :)

You might consider some do it yourself modifications.

I'm thinking about cutting holes in th air intake "fingers", the tubes down at the bottom-by the wheel well/behind the d-side fog light.

I'm also thinking about the mod where you cut a hole in the air box, and add a marine screw on cover for wet weather.

Cost: time & ?40$ for the marine cover.

Edit: adding for either of those mods we don't have to fiddle with the MAF sensor.(AFAIK)

I'm not sure if that mod is applicable to R51s.
