Ok I did a search in the FAQ, but it doesn't seem like anyone has posted directions on how to install the intake extension. I heard that this is somewhat difficult do to the small area available. Is this true? I look and it doesn't seem like there's much room for the big INJEN filter. Can someone please post some directions, I would like to do this tonight. Thanks guys. Also which direction does the heat shield/splash guard go on? The wheel side I assume.

Ash,

The cold air extension is not very hard to install. Make sure you take the air box out. Both the part inside the engine bay and behind the wheel well. You can access the part behind the wheel well by pulling the plastic underbody off from the bottom. If you're car is lowered like mine, it may be easier to jack the car up first. The extension just goes into place. Follow the pictures if you have them. Don't worry, there will be plenty of space to install the filter. I would put the shield facing the bottom, or any open part you may have in that area.

I would probably clean the filter and re-oil every 5-7k mi at least. They get pretty dirty down there and will hurt performance when they're that dirty.

Again, if you get stuck, you can call me at 317-538-2890 and I can try to help you over the phone.

Good luck.

Andy
