So I noticed that my radiator was leaking coolant the other day, so I immediately stopped driving my car and replaced the radiator and thermostat over the weekend. My car is now overheating once it warms up, and I touch the lower bottom hose and it is cool to a touch. So the thermostat is not opening up, and I'm thinking it is because I am not bleeding the system right. How do I bleed the system with the bleeder valve? Do I just leave it open while the engine is running and the radiator cap on, until it starts streaming out coolant with no bubbles?

The front of the cat or the back? If it's the front, it might just have come out of the line at the back of the motor where I believe the breather is and run down the pipe? I wouldn't think it would be IN your exhaust.

Front of the cat. I'm hoping so, I pray it's not a blown head gasket
