Hello to all I drive a 1989 240 sx I have had it about three months, last week when I was driving I was not able to shift the cluth wouldnt engage and the pedal seemed soft. I was able to get it home but the pedal was all the way to floor. First I replaced the slave clyndar, nothing, so then I relaced the master cylinder, bled the lines still no dice so I removed the damper and bled the lines again the pedal is still soft and there dosnt seem to be any pressure is there anyone that can help ?

make sure the master cylinder didnt go dry, also make sure to bleed it extremely well.

Some times these are a real pain to bleed due to the dampner, but if you did remove it and you do have someone pumping the pedal while your bleeding it, it could be either the clutch is completely gone or something is up with your shift fork. To test the shift fork simply grab ahold of it and try to move it. It shoul have front to back movement [ to a point] but should have next to no up and down movement. If it seams to be floating in there it could be the pivot broke inside.
