I recently bought a Air / Fuel ratio gauge and its an autometer Cobalt one. And i was wondering if anyone can help me install it. Step by Step and stuff'

Oh yea and another thing, its for a 1990 240sx coupe, 5 speed

You just wasted a bunch of money for nothing, it's absolutely useless.

Anyways I can't imagine it being to hard to install if you read the instructions that tell you what each wire hooks up to.

I'm assuming one is ground, one is hooked to a switched power source for nighttime lighting, another to ignition to power the led's and one to the o2 sensor signal.which is the white wire that runs from the o2 -> ecu.

For your information, i bought it for $20 and it did not come with direction.s How is this a waste of money?

Yeah I have one in my car also... Its no good man...

It will give you a ruff idea where its at while WOT but other then that its just a light show... I'm guna toss mine soon.

Get a wideband if you want to read the A/F's

Ok, I just gave you directions. And when in doubt check the manufacturers home page.

Good luck with it and the purple wire connects to the WHITE wire from the O2 sensor.
