air/fuel gauge?

hey guys just wondering what A/F gauges you are running. I am not sure mine is working right...its the tented one you see on ebay. I am thinking about going to a wideband here soon.

AEM UEGO wideband. And if you are using a narrowband O2 sensor, no your gauge isn't working right and hasn't since day one. It will read rich 100% of the time you are at WOT unless you have a bad O2 sensor.

Correct, wideband is the way to go. It is the best way to tune your car. A narrowband gauge will give you an idea, but not exact.

doesn't somebody make a converter that takes the 5volt signal from a wideband and translate it into a more precise 2volt signal so that you can use an A/F gauge designed for a narrowband O2 sensor?

No, but a lot of wideband units have a narrowband output. And it's a 1.0v system, by the way. Not 2.0v

I programmed my LC1 to use my autometer gauge. I don't have a numerical readout, but it gives you a decent idea of where your AFR'S are at.
