Air/fuel gauge question

So there three wires .red/black/purple/i have tit hooked up to pin 29 which is the o2 sencer wire ..but iam not getting a reading ...any thoughts as to what could be wroung ?

It's because you hooked tit upto it instead of the purple wire.

JK

Try running a wire over to the plug for the O2 sensor and tapping in there. You could have a bad O2 sensor.

Just an FYI, all that gauge is going to do is bounce back and forth while you're driving and read full rich at WOT.

In better terms, it' s near worthless. However, it does signal to you when your oxygen sensor has shat itself .

Florida sun = teh suck. Plus, its almost impossible to find a hicas steering wheel

It's like trying to find a HICAS steering rack. I can't get my hands on one to save my life.

why is a hicas steering rack better? and i have a steering wheel in mint condition but not hicas

i believe a hicas steering rack has a better range of steering angle, wheels will turn more, at least im pretty sure.

15:1 steering ratio as opposed to 17:1 on the non-HICAS rack.

imagine that with the tein tie rod spacers

c-rad will that steering wheel help you out at all?

Negative. The HICAS steering wheels have a sensor and gear that determines the angle of the steering wheel. Apparently the TT 300ZX aftermarket hub works, so I may go that route. Unless I can find one of those nifty JDM wheels that say "hicas II" on them
