Air/Fuel Gauge install Question

Car: was a 240, now a cobra, soon a z32 TT

I'm try'n to install an Autometer A/F/ gauge and I got it hooked up to the o2 censor and its been gounded,but I'm not much of an electrician,but where do I hook it up to when it says ignition switch/5 amp fuse.I am totally lost.Sorry for the stupid question,and thanks in advance.

anything that turns on when your key is turned to the "ON" position. Most use the ignition wire for the radio as source. "5 amp fuse" means they want you to fuse the wiring going to the gauge with a 5amp fuse. You can find the fuse housings at any hardware store. (usually black, you put a 2 prong fuse inside of it, close it, its' got 2 wires that you run one end to the ignition switch wire (again could be the one going to the radio) the other end to the wire going to your A/F gauge wire. )

or you could put a useful gauge there. The A/F gauge is not accurate and becomes nothing more than a light show.
