I was reading through the archives, and noticed somene mentioned there is an air freshner under the seat of 90-93 Q45s?? I never noticed this on my 91.. it's definetely not on my 94..

Is there anyway to get a refill for this? Was it designed to be refilled or just for it's original use..

There is a felt block inside that can be recharged with any flavor pimp oil that you want, I like vanilla. It's available at any auto parts store and you just pull the little box out of the seat, stand it up and pour the oil through the slots.

My 92 has it. I love how it keeps my interior from smelling like Taco Bell, flatulence, and Wendys. I havent heard of other cars with this feature... do they exist?

Definitely can't drive a Q without this critical performance mod.

Think it'll negate the smell of burnt Falkens?

Ah this puts it all into perspective..

So I'm guessing what Joe is selling is the entire piece it's self..

I thought there was some sort of insert, but the whole thing is the air freshner..

So what you have in your fingers in the picture, is probably what joe sells. not something that goes inside of it..

Well, mine's still working, and theres no record of it ever having been replaced. I sniffed it and its still giving off a scent. Smells a little like cologne.

I just have a plastic plug in that space so I'll order the air fresh from Joe. Thanks for a pic Jesda!

Didn't Infiniti have a slogan about the early Qs, "Never Before and Never Again..." Is there anything those engineers didn't think of, other than a cup holder.

YES!

- Automatic headlights- Design the roof so when you open the door after it rains it doesnt dump on you..- make it so the trunk doesnt get water all over your stuff..- gas mileage- Trunk space- rear seat room

Ok, so im hating, but those things would help!!!

Automatic headlights give me mad rage! I refuse to give up control.

I do wish the Bose sound system didnt suck for listening to anything but hip hop.

A convertible two-door version would rock my world, but thats just silly.

Lumbar adjustments would be nice.

Livelier needles and gauges would keep me more awake during night drives.

I wish the cruise control button would stay on permanently.

Thats about it.

Just got my car back on the road tonight after a month or so hiatus.

As I first sit down to crank it up & go up with it on the lift for someone else to check for leaks while it's warming up, the first thing I do is fumble around the base of the seat for this air freshener thingie.

I felt the little slats on that plastic jobbie, I'm going to order one too.

Poor Joe is going to be like......."WTF is with the air fresheners?"

Make sure you get the "Heavy Duty" air freshener.

That seat's gonna need all the help it can get. :)
